Thru the Plymouth Congregation Church. Miss Virginia Food Pantry received a $1900 grant to be used toward building improvements. We had currently in our warehouse (2) older Hand Pallet Jacks that we were looking to replace because of issues with wear. Peg Schilb wrote a Grant specific to these replacements. We were able to purchase and receive (3) and Pallet Jacks. These Pallet Jacks are designed and used to move Pallets around the warehouse and used when picking product up from Food Vendors. The Hand Jacks are Noble Hand Pallet Jacks and by purchasing three we received a purchasing break from Materials Handling, as this Grant will save the Food Pantry $1700 for having to purchase. These will go a long way in providing safety and stability to our warehouse operations.
