A short documentary was recently created to shine a light on one of Fort Wayne's best kept secrets.
For over 40 years, Virginia Schrantz opened her home to the poor and needy in her neighborhood. In 1982, Mother Teresa visited Virginia’s home in Fort Wayne to recognize Virginia’s work. To this day, her home continues to serve the community as a food pantry, supplying meals to nearly 1,000 people every week.
With a little help from our friends
