Tis the season for food drives and we couldn't be more grateful to the many business and community-minded groups that have donated to the pantry this year. Parkview Nurses Group, John Carr Insurance, Mike Thomas Realty, the Fort Wayne Optimist Club, Bishop Dwenger High School and others are still planned. An emergency plan has been drafted based on the critical need to address the anticipated surge in demand due to the suspension of SNAP benefits starting November 1st, coupled with the disruption of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), due to the federal government shutdown.
