Welcome board members

Miss Virginia's Food Pantry is happy to announce the addition of two new board members.

Laura Dwire has much experience in grant writing, IT, strategic planning, training and operations. She is also considered an expert in healthy food access and has many connections in the community, including food banks and farmers. 

Chan Aung is a leader in the Burmese community and has dedicated his life to the well-being and care of the Burmese and helping them make the transition to life here in our community.  Prior to coming to the USA, he lived hidden in Thailand near the Burmese border and, with his father and others, ran an underground newspaper to inform citizens of the atrocities being committed by the government. He was, and remains, a freedom fighter.

Chan has a passion for service to others.
